Cake Pan Receiver by Steve, WA3SWS

Got back into homebrew over the holiday and built a cakepan regen receiver using tubes. Had a blast, and worked perfectly. 5 plug in coils let me cover 160 meters through about 20-something megacycles. Can copy CW and SSB using the regen as a BFO. Forgot how much fun SWLing was.

Next will be a 5 tube transceiver for 80 and 40. I'd do 30 meters but I'd actually have to *buy* a crystal for there since I'm sure there's nothing in my junk box for 30 meters. Am not used to these new WARC bands yet.
